April Favorites

And here are my April favorites:

• Calvin Klein Euphoria - I've been drenching myself in my beloved Escada Taj Mahal for a while now and I adore it. But a couple of weeks ago I spritzed a bit CK Euphoria just for fun and for the entire day I was in scent heaven. Holy guacamole it smells divine, it's such a great oriental fragrance. But it is rather strong, so I tend to not use it on warmer days
• Make Up Factory True lip color 47 - I've worn this lipstick almost every day this month. It's such a great light pink shade and so easy to wear. I just love it. And the formula is superb.
• IsaDora Glow Stick in 10 Rose Bud - My recent addition and addiction. It gives a gorgeous light flush and gives your cheek luminosity. I love how easy it is to apply, you just dab/swipe a bit on the cheeks, blend and you're ready to go. Also is so portable you can just put it in your bag and retouch your blush anytime you need.
• Essence Stay With Me lipgloss in My favorite milkshake - what a great shade, pink but slightly peachy. I love the texture and the scent, it's really a great gloss.
• I didn't wear much eyeshadow this month, but when I did it was Mac's Satin Taupe. It a great mushroomy brown colour, fantastic on blue/grey eyes. Mostly I wore only some black eyeshadow by NYX smudged into the top lash line. NYX black is such an intense black, it's literally like coal. If you're looking for a really black eyeshadow I highly recommend this one.
• And again I'll rave about L'Oreal Voluminous Million lashes mascara and Tana eyelash curlers. Together they make my lashes long and defined, a great combination for a daytime look.  

• I've bought and used quite a lot of Dove Beauty Cream bars this month. I just love this bar (the classic one). It doesn't dry my skin, it doesn't leave that squeaky clean filling (I hate that), there no plastic packaging and the scent is divine. I like those classic soap scents a lot.
• I've made quite a few changes in my skin care routine this month, but the product that literally transformed my skin is Vichy Aqualia Thermal serum. Initially I wasn't particularly impressed, but with it I finally got rid of the dry patches that I've had the for years (no matter what moisturizer I used or how many times I exfoliated). But this serum got rid of them in two weeks. I also noticed that my skin looks healthier.
• My two most worn nail polishes were Essence Replay and You Belong To Me. I love turquoise shades and these two are so pretty. 

And here is I my ''I need to use them up'' box. Most products are practically empty like that CadeaVera moisturizer and Clinique Pore Minimizer for example. I need to finish that ancient bottle of Lancome Ideal (review can be found here), some lipsticks and tinted balms (because I fell in love in Chanel Coco Shine Chance so I want to use up some of my stash before I buy it) and some other products that have been laying around for a while.
 

There's one product that just frustrates me and that is Clinique's Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector. It has the potential of making your skin look fantastic, almost retouched. It erases pores, leaves your skin mat and flawless, but only if your skin is hydrated and has no dry patches. It clings to every dry spot and patch and emphasizes it, therefore making your skin look horrible. So I suppose it's better suited for oily skins, it works fine on my cheeks and nose, but not my forehead. Also once, when I applied it, it initially looked great, but in a matter of hours several dry patches appeared around my mouth. However it's a great mattifier, one of the best I ever tried.

March Favorites

I've had a lot of favorites this month (the coloured words are links):

• Escada Taj Sunset - I loooove it! I even prefer it to Marine Groove. It's such a lovely summer fragrance.The most prominent note is mango and it's very sweet. 
• Orofluido - the scent is gorgeous, a mix of amber and vanilla. It just feels so luxurious. 
• L'Oreal Million Lashes - I really didn't find it anything special when I tried it for the first time. I guess it's one of those mascaras that just need some time. I love it now, it defines and lengthens and it works great on lower lashes too.
• Tana eyelash curler - An essential tool. These are the best curlers available here in Slovenia. They don't pinch (unlike Manhattan one's, those are horrible!) and have the best arch.
• E.l.f. blush in Shy - gorgeous pink shade, it really brightens your face.
• I've been wearing a lot of either a combination of Viva Gaga and Make up factory 47 or Gosh Darling & MUF 47.
• Essence Stay with me 02 My favorite milkshake - Great glosses, finally something that doesn't have shimmer and they smell so nice. The colour is gorgeous, a lovely peachy pink.
• UD Naked palette
• Essence 53 You Belong to me and Miss Sporty 370 nail polishes. Belong to me is a dupe for Essie's Mint Candy Apple (the latter is just a hint greener) but the application is so much easier.
• Refan's version of Chanel n.5 - It identical to the original and the staying power is amazing. I got this one for my mum, for my cousin I took Guilty (Gucci, again identical to the original with brilliant staying power) and Givenchy Organza for her friend (I didn't get anything for myself, lol). I put the sticker on myself, the bottles are quite plain actually. Vsi so identicni originalom in zdr�ijo neverjetno dolgo, na�pricala sem si jih na zapestje ob 11h, zdr�ali so do dokler se nisem �la stu�irat ob polnoci. February Favourites

Here are my favourite/most used products in February:

• John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Conditioner - review can be found here, I love how the scent lingers for days.
• L'Occitane Almond shower oil - (click for review) I know I probably sound like a broken record, but I just adore the scent of it.
• E.l.f. Tinted Moisturizer - I just purchased it recently and I wore it almost every day in the last month. (click for review)
• Benefit Coralista
• Max Factor white eyeliner
• Jemma Kidd highlighter in 01 Ice Gold
• Mac fluidline in blacktracks
• Mac lipstick in crem� cup
• Nyx soft mat lip cream in Istanbul

In the last month I basically wore the same make up every day - a thin black line (with Mac's fluidline) on the top lash line, Max Factors white eyeliner in the waterline, mascara (I just bought a new one, Million lashes by L'Oreal), Tinted moisturizer by E.l.f. with some Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, Coralista on the cheeks and Jemma Kidd's higlighter. On the lips I mostly wore NYX's Istanbul or Mac's Creme Cup.

January Favourites

So here are my favourites/most used products in January:

Bioderma Sesibio make-up remover - brilliant product, so gentle yet it removes all make-up. I don't know if it removes waterproof mascara because I don't own one. I love the fact that it's not greasy, it literally feels like water. Love it. / Odlicen odstranjevalec make-upa. Je zelo ne�en, obenem pa odstrani vsa licila (ne vem sicer kako se obnese pri odstranjevanju vodoodporne maskare, ker je nimam). V�ec mi je da ni masten, oljnih odstranjevalcev ne maram ker mi zameglijo vid, pri tem teh te�av nimam.

Most worn and loved lippies in the last month were Oriflame's unknown lipstick sample in 00012 (what useful info lol), mineral lipstick Runway pink by E.l.f. (gorgeous light mat pink) and Manhattan's Soft mat lip cream in 56K (lovely mat medium pink). / Najvec no�ene in najljub�e �minke v Januarju so bile Oriflamova neznana �minka (imam tester) v odtenku 00012 (dokaj neuporabna informacija), E.l.f.-ova mineralna �minka v odtenku Runway Pink (cudovita mat svetlo roza) in Manhattanova Soft mat lip cream v odtenku 56K (srednje roza).

Wedge eye shadow by MAC - I use it as a contour shade for my cheekbones, it's a perfect shade for my light complexion. I would love to find a bronzer in such colour./ To sencilo uporabljam za sencenje pod licnicami. Je ravno pravi odtenek za mojo svetlo polt. Rada bi na�la odtenek bronzerja, ki bi bil podoben temu.

Avon SuperShock gel eyeliner in black is fantastic. The blackest black I ever tried and it really stays long in the waterline. I also loved wearing Max Factors white eyeliner. I had a phase a couple of weeks ago when I was wearing white eyeliner with loads of mascara and light pink lipstick. Revlon Luxurious color in Antiqued gold has been in my collection for quite a while (a bit unappreciated I must say). I ''rediscovered'' it last week and I started using it as an all over colour. I just warm the tip a bit with a lighter to make it more creamy and apply it all over the lid. It a really great color to complement blue/grey eyes./ Najbolj priljubljeni linerji so Avon SuperShock gel eyeliner (najbolj crn liner kar sem jih na�la in noro obstojen), Max Factor White (sem imela fazo, ko sem nosila bel liner z veliko maskare in svetlo roza �minko) in zadnje ponovno odkritje z moje zbirke Revlonov Luxurious color v odtenku Antiqued Gold. Slednjega uporabljam kar po celi veki s tem da najprej konico linerja malo segrejem z v�igalnikom, da postane bolj kremen. Je odlicen odtenek za sive in modre oci.

L'Oreal Made for me naturals Blondes - I've been neglecting this palette. It has the most beautiful collection of neutral colours, I love how the darkest colour in the palette complements my eye colour and the lightest shade is a good highlighter. Love it. / Super paletka, ima cudovito kombinacijo nevtralnih sencil. Zgornji odtenek je za obrvi, jaz ga uporabljam kot navadno sencilo. Najtemnej�i odtenek odlicno poudari mojo barvo oci, najsvetlej�i pa je zelo lep highlighter.

Favourites in 2010

I'll start with skincare. So far my favourites are:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash & Mask 

I use it mostly as a mask, I do use it sometimes as a cleanser and I like it a lot. It's my favourite face mask, it makes my skin look so much healthier and it's really cheap for the amount you get.

Uporabljam jo vecinoma kot masko, redkeje za vsakodnevno ci�cenje. Kot maska mi je izjemno v�ec, ko�a izgleda veliko bolj zdravo po uporabi, pa �e poceni je za tako kolicino.

L'Oreal Exfotonic body scrub

 I finally found a decent scrub. The beads are big and it contains AHA acids. My HG scrub. 

Koncno sem na�la spodoben piling. Ima velika zrnca in vsebije AHA kisline. Super piling.

L'Occitane Almond shower oil

Love, love, love.

Dove Nourishing Moisture Beauty Body Milk

The only thing I found to be really moisturing, it leaves my skin so soft.

Edina stvar, ki je dovolj mastna da poskrbi za mojo suho ko�o na nogah. Ko�a je res mehka po uporabi.

Escada's Marine Groove

Marine Groove is a LE for this year and is gorgeous. My favourite fragrance ever. Notes are passionfruit, peony, jasmine and musk. I love the passion fruit in it. It's my signature summer scent.

Marine Groove je leto�nja Escadina LE. Moj najljub�i parfum ever. Note: pasijonka, potonika, jasmin in mo�u�. Pasijonka mi je izjemno v�ec, nosim ga poleti.

Calvin Klein Euphoria

Euphoria is my winter scent. Notes include pomegranate, lotus, black orchid, black violet, amber and musk. I get complimented a lot when I wear it.

 Pozimi uporabljam Euphorio. Note: granatno jabolko, crna orhideja, lotus, crna vijolica, jantar in mo�u�. Vedno dobim pohvale ko ga nosim. 

Lancome Color Ideal 

My favourite foundation, makes my skin look amazing. 

Moj najljub�i tekoci puder, naredi mojo ko�o izjemno lepo.

Bourjois Healty Mix concealer 

 Fantastic concealer, good coverage, smells nice, it's perfect for dark circles.

Cudovit korektor, zelo dobro prekriven, di�i cvetlicno, super za pod oci.

Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in Peach Satin 

In one word: gorgeous. Such a wonderful product, it really livens my face. 

Fantasticen blush, izgleda fantasticno na izjemno svetli moji polti. Res �koda, da se ga ne dobi pri nas.

E.l.f. Healty Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance 

A great, cheap highlighter.

Super, poceni osvetljevalec.

Benefit Coralista 

Another beautful blush, simililar to Nars Orgasm, but slightly more coral.

�e en cudovit blush, podoben Narsovemu Orgasm-u, le da je bolj koralen.

Eye make up:

Palettes: Urban Decay Naked palette and Sleek Storm - both fantastic, beautiful neutral colours. I even use shade called Naked from the Naked palette as a countour./ Obe cudovite nevtralne paletke.

Individual eyeshadows: Mac Satin Taupe and Patina, ArtDeco 245 and Essence Smokey Eyes set in 02 Punky Vibe. - All fantastic for a neutral smokey eye, all are really flattering on gray-blue eyes. Essence set is great for a dark brown smokey look./ Cudovite barve za nevtralen smokey make-up, super za sive-modre oci. Essencov set je super za temnej�i rjav smokey make-up.

Eyeliners: Urban Decay Stash and recently Avon SuperShock in black - Stash is the same colour as Artdeco eyeshadow in 245 which is my favourite eyeshadow. Avon's eyeliner is the blackest eyeliner I found./ Stash je enake barve kot ArtDecova sencka 245 (ki je moja naljub�a). Avonov eyeliner je najbolj crn liner kar sem jih sprobala.

Random: Essence pure skin pure teint spot fighting duo - concealer is rubbish, but the liquid side for spot treatment is fantastic./ Korektor je zanic, ampak tekocina za mozolje je super. Sem ga kupila �e tretjic zapovrstjo.

Manhattan's Soft Mat Creams are discovery of the year (swatches and reviews are here, here and here)./ Odkritje leta, slike in ocene lahko najdete tukaj, tukaj in tukaj. �koda da ni vec barv.

Most worn lipsticks this years were Revlon Pink pout and E.l.f. Runway pink.

Mac Hue is my all-time favourite as is Jemma Kidd lipgloss in Petal.

Gosh Darling is the most flattering nude ever.
