Latest Haul - Escada, L'Oreal and Bourjois

 

I love the sweet, fruity, summery LE fragrances from Escada (last years's Marine Groove is my favourite fragrance ever!). The most recent is called Taj Sunset and it smells like mangos, I adore it. Note include ''Alphonso mango, nectarine and blood orange as top notes, the heart features aquatic flowers with raspberry and pomarosa or Malay apple. The base consists of coconut, sandalwood and musk.'' (From Fragrantica.com). 

My L'Oreal Voluminous mascara dried up and I just hated the way the formula thickened towards the end. I had to wipe off a lot of the product from the brush, otherwise it would look like a disaster. So I bought a new mascara, this time Million Lashes with extra black formula. It's another one with a rubbery brush, which I prefer. I find it an average mascara, it works the same as all other mascaras with the plastic brushes (and I've tried almost all on the market, from HE to drugstore). It gives length and it defines the lashes, which is what I'm looking for. It a good daytime mascara, but if you're looking for volume try Voluminous instead. The brush is too big in my opinion, I manage to poke myself in the eye regularly when using it (the same thing happened to me with the False Lashes by Max Factor).

I've already posted the swatches of 3D Max line here and the swatch of 62 Rose gold, which I already used up. So here is the swatch of 61 Rose Acidul�. It a light to medium pink with a bit of coral tones. It's very shinny, but it doesn't contain a lot of shimmer like shade 62, here the shimmer is much more subtle. This swatch is the very accurate (I'm very pale btw, somewhere around NC 15).

Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliners

I ordered a couple of things from Avon: two SuperShock gel eyeliners in black and plumful. The black one is absolutely the blackest eyeliner I ever tried and it has  fantastic staying power. It literally doesn't budge after it dries, which takes about half a minute, but blends nicely before it dries. Plumful is a nice plum colour, also very pigmented and soft, but the black one's performance is more impressive in my opinion. I seriously recommend these, however I heard these aren't the most suitable for contact wearers.

Narocila sem nekaj stvari preko Avona in sicer 2 SuperShock gel eyelinerja v crni in slivovi barvi imenovani Plumful. Crn je absolutno najbolj crn eyeliner kar sem jih imela in je neverjetno obstojen. Ko se posu�i, kar traja kak�ne pol minute, ga ne more� zbrisat z navadnim robckom (�e z vla�nim ga je zelo te�ko). Plumful je tudi zelo mehek in pigmentiran, vseeno mi je crn ljub�i. Oba res priporocam (crn je a must), sem pa sli�ala da niso najbolj�i za uporabnice lec, menda se primejo na lece.

Swatchi obeh. Na drugi sliki se ju slikala potem, ko sem ju posku�ala odstraniti z robckom (potem, ko sta se posu�ila). Crnega je treba hitro zabrisati, �e preden se posu�i, ce �elite bolj mehko crto.

Another thing I ordered was Clear Skin Pore Penetrating scrub, which I used to have in the old formulation, which was in my opinion way better than the new one. It smells minty,  the beads are medium sized (old formulation has bigger beads, which I loved). Still a decent scrub, I like it.

Druga stvari, ki sem jo narocila je Clear Skin Pore Penetrating piling. Vcasih se ta piling imela �e v stari embala�i, preden so prenovili celo kolekcijo, in mi je bil tisti bolj v�ec. Di�i mentolasto, je tudi take barve, zrnca so srednje velika (stari je imel vecja zrnca in mi je bil zato bolj v�ec). Vseeno je zelo dober piling, meni je v�ec.

And my yesterday's purchase L'Oreal Color Riche Serum in S100 Satin Pink. I already swatched this one a couple of month ago (swatches can be found here). It's really moisturizing, has good pigmentation, staying power is ok (but it can't compare to Manhattan's soft mat creams), but it's to expensive for drugstore lippie (12,5�).

Vceraj sem si koncno privo�cila �e L'Oreal Color Riche Serum in S100 Satin Pink. To �minko sem �e slikala na ustnicah, slike so tukaj. Je pa precej vla�ilna, dobro pigmentirana in nekje srednje obstojna (Manhattanov-i Soft Mat Cream-i so mi dvignili standard :) ). Je kar draga, stane 12,5�.

L'Oreal Paris Jesenska Rapsodija and Color Riche Serum Satin Pink Swatch

There is a new L'oreal display in Dm for Fall 2010 (in Slovenia it's called jesenska rapsodija - Fall/Autumn Rapsody, I don't know how's called elsewhere). Here are some rubbish pictures of the collection:

L'Oreal Color Riche Serum in Satin Pink

It's a neutral, medium pink. It's very pigmented and feels very moisturising on the lips. Apparently, the lighter core part contains an anti-ageing serum. I believe this shade is a part of a permanent line.

�minka je svetle roza barve, zelo pigmentirana in zelo vla�ilna. Sredinski svetlej�i del vsebuje serum, ki zavira staranje. Mislim, da ta barva ni omejena izdaja.

Artdeco

Lip Brilliance gloss from Beauty Desire collection:

A gorgeous raspberry red lipgloss which is very pigmented.
Cudovit malinasto rdec glos, ki je zelo pigmentiran.

Artdeco 233 is in the same colour family as Mac's Patina, actually it's almost a dupe.
Artdeco 233 je zelo podobna Macovi Patini. Ni popolnoma enaka, je pa zelo dober pribli�ek.

I love Artdeco eyeshadows. I would compare them with Mac both in terms of pigmentation and staying power. However, they come in very small pots and they are very soft, therefore they don't last nearly as long as Mac's.

I regret not buying Alverde's eyeshadows in Green jewel and Intensive turquise, they are both so beautiful. L'oreal Color Riche has a new range of lipstick (I think they might be called anti-aging, I'm not really sure), anyway that swatched pink lipstick is gorgeous. I bought both swatched Manhattan's Soft Mat Cream and I absolutely love them. I'll swatch them tomorrow.

Ob�alujem, da nisem kupila modre in zelene sencke od Alverde, res sta lepi. L'Orealova �minka je del neke nove kolekcije, sama se jo videla v DM-u. Kupila sem obe Manhattanovi Soft Mat Cream tekoci �minki, ki sta slikani zgoraj in sta absolutno fantasticni. Ju poslikam jutri.

L'Oreal Glam Shine Reflection 174 Sheer Peach

This gloss is one of the 4 new shades available here in Slovenia. However, as far as I'm aware there are 8 new shades available (at least in the UK's Superdrug). They have the typical L'oreal heart-shaped applicator, which works great. As the name suggests the colour is peachy-coral, almost orange, with golden shimmer. Staying power is decent, it lasts a couple of hours. It is not sticky. I paid 9.60� in M�ller. It's a nice gloss, however, it irritates my lips right after application (this happens to me with all L'Oreal glosses). The burning sensation ceases after a couple of minutes.

Glos je eden izmed 4 novih odtenkov na voljo v Sloveniji, ceprav jih je na voljo 8 v VB. Ima tipicen L'orealov aplikator v obliki srca, meni je kar v�ec. Barva je breskovo-koralna, skoraj oran�na, z zlatimi ble�cicami. Obstojnost je v redu, pribli�no 2 ure. Ni lepljiv. Kupila sem ga v M�llerju za 9,60�. Glos je ok, ampak takoj po nanosu me pecejo ustnice (to se mi dogaja z vsemi L'Orealovimi glossi). Pekoc obcutek izgine po parih minutah.
